Dierks Bentley Introduces New Whiskey

Last week I attended a launch event in Music City for Dierks Bentley’s new whiskey, ROW 94. This was released in September and reflects a deep connection to country music and Nashville’s Music Row, where his career began. Crafted at Kentucky’s historic Green River Distilling Co., ROW 94 is a 94-proof Kentucky Straight Bourbon. The whiskey has a mash bill of 70% Kentucky-grown corn, 21% rye, and 9% malted barley, aged for four years in heavily charred new White Oak barrels, giving it a rich depth and complexity.

Tasting notes of ROW 94 open with inviting aromas of vanilla and toffee, balanced with a surprising hint of green apple. The palate offers flavors of honey and tobacco, followed by a smooth finish with subtle notes of oak and baking spices. Bentley has shared that he wanted a bourbon that wasn’t overly serious but still packed a satisfying bite, making it bold and approachable.  Green River, purchased in 2022 by Bardstown Bourbon Company, is an up-and-coming distillery making significant inroads in the whiskey community with affordable, well received offerings.

I had a few minutes to discuss this release with Dierks. He’s always been a whiskey guy, so in no way is a stretch. He has the knowledge and is very proud to have his own brand and is excited to see where this goes. Hopefully, in the future, you’ll be able to enjoy a pour at an upcoming Dierks show.

This is available for around $40-$45 in Tennessee, Kentucky, Florida, Colorado, and Arizona, and nationwide online, ROW 94 celebrates Bentley’s journey and his love for storytelling, symbolized by his thunderbird logo—a nod to the values of strength and freedom that resonate with his music and fans alike.
