Here’s a breakdown of what you can expect. The highlight of the experience is the opportunity to fill a special white, ceramic jug. This decanter is a reproduction of a style from the late 1890s, referencing the brand’s history. The whiskey you’ll be filling is a single-barrel, barrel-strength, and unfiltered expression of Green River bourbon, rye, or wheated bourbon. The specific type of whiskey and its proof will rotate, but it’s often in the range of 115 to 130 proof. This is a one of a kind product that you can only get through this experience.

How can you get the experience? Unlike some other distillery experiences that require advance booking, Green River’s “Fill Your Spirits” decanter experience is offered on a first come, first served basis. You cannot make a reservation ahead of time. A limited number of these experiences are offered daily, so it’s a good idea to arrive early.
